About the position

The Social Media Manager at BNY Pershing will be responsible for developing and executing the organic social strategy across various platforms. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to create content that aligns with the brand's cultural and strategic goals, while also tracking performance metrics to drive brand growth. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment, making it essential for the candidate to have a solid understanding of audience behavior on social media channels.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the development and execution of BNY Pershing's organic social strategy across platforms.
  • Work cross-functionally to identify, develop, and execute organic content opportunities that align with the brand.
  • Track organic reporting and analytics against goals, using data to drive brand growth on social media.
  • Own the content calendar and planning for BNY Pershing, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
  • Share best practices, industry trends, and platform updates with stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Adhere to internal and external approval processes, compliance, legal, audit, and regulatory documentation.
  • Support the governance framework for BNY Pershing social media.
  • Assist social media, communications, and marketing team members in BNY Pershing initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of social media experience in a large organization or major agency setting.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong mix of creative, analytic, and communication skills.
  • Understanding of audience behavior across social channels.
  • Experience with enterprise social management tools such as Sprinklr, Sprout, Meltwater, etc.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills with knowledge of content variation by channel.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Workfront preferred.
  • Experience in financial services or regulated industry is a plus.
