About the position

Cedric DuPont Antiques is seeking a Social Media Manager/Content Creator and Office Associate to join our team in West Palm Beach, FL. This in-person position is crucial to our gallery's operations, which has been a leader in the high-end furnishing world for over 40 years. Our gallery boasts the largest collection of important and rare French, Italian, and Continental antique furniture and accessories in the United States, with an extensive catalog of over 4,000 individual stock items. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in managing our social media presence and supporting the gallery's administrative functions. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our social media accounts on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest. You will create engaging content, edit photos and videos, and develop a consistent posting schedule that resonates with our clientele. Your ability to multitask will be essential as you handle various responsibilities, including answering client calls, coordinating shipping, and maintaining our inventory on sales platforms. We are looking for a creative individual who is proficient in photo and video editing, particularly using Adobe Creative Suite, and who can work independently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a warm personality, strong interpersonal skills, and a professional appearance. You should be detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously, and able to handle complex issues with discretion and confidentiality. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to build relationships with clients and industry professionals. Responsibilities

  • Manage the gallery's Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest social accounts.
  • Organize and update Meta Business shops to ensure proper inventory status and availability.
  • Maintain and update exterior sale platforms.
  • Receive and direct incoming calls, mail, and e-mails.
  • Data entry and coordination of shipping, packaging, and pickup of sold items.
  • Draft confidential correspondence and edit documents as needed.
  • Capture engaging content and edit photos/videos for social media.
  • Create in-depth product demonstrations using professional photo/video editing software.
  • Develop a consistent and effective posting schedule optimized for clientele.
  • Handle complex issues requiring high levels of confidentiality and diplomacy.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, implementing and completing projects within timelines.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Photoshop and video/photo editing skills (REQUIRED).
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (2 years required).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (MUST SPEAK ENGLISH).
  • Organizational skills and background in office administration/secretarial work.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability.
  • Very strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with clientele and professionals in the industry.
  • Demonstrated discretion and strict confidentiality with a high level of integrity.
