About the position

The Freelance Content Creator for OC Builders Group is responsible for capturing and editing high-quality content that showcases the progress and quality of construction projects. This part-time role involves visiting job sites, creating engaging visual content, and managing social media platforms to enhance the company's online presence.

Responsibilities

• Visit construction job sites to capture high-quality photos and videos.
• Highlight key aspects of each project, including progress, craftsmanship, and unique features.
• Conduct brief on-site interviews with team members or clients when relevant.
• Edit photos and videos to create visually appealing and engaging content.
• Ensure all content aligns with the brand's tone and aesthetic.
• Add relevant captions, graphics, or music to enhance the content.
• Upload edited content to social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).
• Create engaging captions and use appropriate hashtags to increase visibility.
• Monitor social media channels for engagement and respond to comments as needed.
• Work closely with project managers and team members to understand the unique selling points of each project.
• Coordinate with the marketing team to align content with overall marketing strategies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in content creation, especially in photography and videography.
• Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices for content posting.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Access to reliable transportation to visit job sites.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the construction industry or a similar field.
• Familiarity with drone photography/videography.
• Graphic design skills for creating promotional materials.
