About the position

We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy to enhance our online presence, engage with our audience, and promote our brand. This role requires a strong understanding of social media platforms, content creation, and advertising strategies to effectively communicate our message and drive engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies that align with business goals.
  • Create engaging content across various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Conduct research to identify trends and insights that inform content creation and advertising efforts.
  • Manage daily social media operations including scheduling posts, responding to comments, and monitoring engagement.
  • Utilize social listening tools to track brand mentions and sentiment across social media channels.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate social media campaigns with broader marketing initiatives.
  • Analyze performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Proofread all content for accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines before publication.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in social media management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in social media management or a related field.
  • Strong skills in content creation, including graphic design proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
  • Familiarity with advertising techniques on various social media platforms.
  • Excellent research skills to identify relevant topics and trends for content development.
  • Ability to analyze data from Google Analytics and other reporting tools to drive decision-making.
  • Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail in written communication.
  • Knowledge of stigma-related issues is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.
  • Solid background in photography and videography.
