This individual is driven to create meaningful experiences for our hosts, guests, and community while ensuring the success and profitability of our unique offerings. The right Social Media Manager checklist will include equal parts curious learner, innovator, administrator, detail driver, mentor, and motivator. The Social Media Manager enhances The Dollywood Company's marketing efforts by guiding the social media team as they create accurate and relevant content for multiple social media formats. The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing innovative strategies within The Dollywood Company's owned social media channels to advance the brand, while also creating plans to monitor and respond to community conversations in various groups across social channels. The Social Media Manager will lead day-to-day operation of all aspects of social media including, but not limited to, social listening, posting, photography, videography and analytics. The Social Media Manager will guide and collaborate with the Social Media Engagement Specialist to create compelling content for all owned channels. The Social Media Manager also will guide and collaborate with the Influencer Marketing Specialist for creating a plan for hosting social media influencers at company properties. The Social Media Manager must also manage Guest Correspondence Coordinators responsible for managing community conversations on various company social media channels. The Social Media Manager also is responsible for fostering growth of social media team member talent, including content creation, strategy development and leadership skills.
