Social Media Manager/Events Administrator

About the position

The Social Media Manager / Events Administrator at Bluegrass REALTORS® is responsible for leading the social media strategy and overseeing the planning and execution of association events. This role aims to enhance the online presence of the association, engage members, and strengthen the brand through compelling content and effective event management.

Responsibilities

• Develop, produce, and manage high-quality content for various social media platforms.
• Monitor social media trends and design innovative campaigns to enhance engagement.
• Interact with followers and foster community among members on social media.
• Track key performance metrics and provide regular reports for strategy optimization.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for social content and events.
• Oversee the planning and execution of meetings and events, ensuring budget compliance.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors for events and meetings.
• Conduct site inspections for event locations and participate in decision-making.

Requirements

• Proven experience in social media management, ideally for nonprofits or associations.
• Proficiency with major social media platforms and content creation tools.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with analytics tools to measure performance.
• Experience in customer service managing inquiries in person and via email or phone.
• Meeting and event planning skills.
