About the position

As a Social Media Manager at Corsair, you will lead the Gaming Social Team in managing our vibrant gaming community across various social media platforms. Your primary responsibility will be to create and support the development of high-quality, engaging content that resonates with our audience. This includes producing short-form videos, graphics, and imagery that capture the essence of our brand and engage our community. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective content distribution and promotion strategies aimed at enhancing the reach and impact of our content across channels such as Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, X, and YouTube. In this role, you will be tasked with optimizing content for social media and other platforms to drive organic traffic, ensuring that our content is transparent and easily discoverable. You will craft and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with Corsair's initiatives, guidelines, and targets, while also meeting the expectations of our gaming customers. Your initiatives will include contests, content partnerships, promotions, and announcements, all designed to foster engagement and community growth. Collaboration will be key, as you will work both internally and externally to produce original content that can be utilized across all platforms. You will also be responsible for measuring the performance of our content, allowing for continuous optimization and improvement. This position requires a passionate individual who is not only skilled in social media management but also has a deep understanding of the gaming community and culture.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Gaming Social Team to manage the gaming community via social platforms.
  • Create high-quality, engaging content across various formats, including short form videos, graphics, and imagery.
  • Implement content distribution and promotion strategies to improve reach and impact across channels.
  • Optimize content for social media to drive organic traffic and improve transparency and discoverability.
  • Craft and execute a social media strategy that aligns with company initiatives and meets customer expectations.
  • Develop and execute initiatives such as contests, content partnerships, promotions, and announcements.
  • Collaborate internally and externally to produce engaging, original content for all platforms.
  • Measure content performance for continuous optimization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in social media management and content creation.
  • Excellent written communication skills with a proven track record of influencing others.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Comfortable creating content and streaming, with experience in front of and behind the camera.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work quickly under tight deadlines.
  • Passion for social media and content platforms, especially YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitch.

Nice-to-haves

  • Enthusiasm for PC gaming is a plus.
