In the position of Social Media Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the social media strategy across our brands' social media accounts, our portfolio of products, and our lifestyle marketing efforts. Your role will involve making plans and executing strategies to keep our company on the cutting-edge of social media strategy and community engagement. It is essential to ensure that the Monster Energy Company's brands' culture is actively and accurately represented and nurtured within our fans and communities. You will be expected to be a social media mad scientist, willing to be creative and push the boundaries of what's possible with community-based marketing. Your essential job functions will include leading the day-to-day management of social media accounts, which encompasses content schedules, community engagement, live event coverage, and performance analysis. You will spearhead communications with cross-functional teams including Digital Marketing, Brand Management, Creative Services, and Lifestyle Marketing. Additionally, you will manage and mentor a team of social media managers and specialists, driving planning and communications with the team to ensure clear workflows, consistent accountability, and measured progress towards goals. Identifying and articulating needs for resources in forecasting discussions with senior leadership will also be part of your responsibilities. As a senior support to the digital leadership group, you will shape social media strategy with a focus on prioritizing community-oriented programming and resources while anticipating trends and innovations that can impact the company's direction. You will lead all reporting and analysis, focusing on clear, consistently measured impact with action-oriented reporting. Bringing new trends, ideas, and/or philosophies to the business for exploration with clear business cases in support will be crucial. You will also devote time to trend and competitive research. Furthermore, you will liaise with partnership teams, such as Lifestyle Marketing and Brand Management, to plan co-marketing efforts that include ambassadors, digital creators and influencers, social followers, and event/IP partners. Leading the development of social engagement and content plans for co-marketing moments will be a key aspect of your role.
