About the position

The Social Media Manager at MK Group will be responsible for managing the social media marketing and content strategy for multiple automotive client accounts. This role focuses on creating engaging content, managing online communities, and implementing effective social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media principles, excellent writing skills, and a passion for the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day social media marketing for up to 10 automotive client accounts.
• Create engaging content across various social media platforms.
• Manage online communities and track analytics.
• Implement effective social media strategies to optimize content visibility.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their unique needs and brand voice.
• Develop and execute tailored social media campaigns.
• Curate relevant content and monitor online conversations for engagement opportunities.
• Analyze performance metrics and provide insights for strategy refinement.
• Create visually appealing content using graphic design tools like Canva and Photoshop.

Requirements

• 4+ years in a marketing role
• Experience in social media marketing, communication, and content strategy
• Proficiency in social media optimization (SMO)
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Strong understanding of social media analytics tools
• Knowledge of current social media trends and best practices
• Creative problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail
• Experience in the automotive industry
• Graphic design experience (Canva, Photoshop, etc.) is a major plus
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
