About the position

The Social Media Manager, Motorsports at Levelwing Media LLC is responsible for managing the social media presence for various motorsports events and series, including INDYCAR, Formula 1, NASCAR, and MotoGP. This role requires a deep passion for motorsports and a creative approach to engaging with fans through content planning, community management, and influencer activation. The position aims to grow the fan base and enhance brand visibility in the motorsports industry.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage data and insights to inform recommendations and drive action.
  • Develop monthly content calendars that align with core pillars and collaborate with creative resources for content development.
  • Engage in real-time relevant trends and conversations on social media using the appropriate tone and voice for motorsports brands.
  • Manage client scheduling and reporting tools with support from the Senior Social Strategist.
  • Pull post-performance data for monthly reporting and insights documents.
  • Manage influencer content and integrate it into the existing content calendar.
  • Monitor social landscape for cultural and platform-specific trends to explore.
  • Collaborate with the Creative team to schedule and deploy approved content.
  • Work with the Senior Social Strategist on strategic brand responses to cultural moments and proactive outreach.
  • Engage in crisis management protocols when necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Three or more years of experience in an agency or client-relevant industry.
  • In-depth understanding of motorsports industry trends and events.
  • Knowledge of key racing series, major events, and their impact on fan engagement.
  • Familiarity with motorsports audience and branding/sponsorships.
  • Proficiency in creating and curating visually compelling motorsports content.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel and intermediate experience in Google Suite.
  • Experience with social scheduling tools like Hootsuite or Sprinklr.
  • Experience with video/photo editing software such as Adobe Premiere or CapCut.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Sprinklr or Khoros is highly desired.
  • Experience assisting with post copy is a plus.
  • Direct social analytics experience is a plus.
  • Experience working across multiple social media platforms.
