The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy aimed at enhancing brand awareness, engaging with our audience, and driving traffic to our digital platforms. This role requires a blend of creativity and analytical skills to create compelling content, monitor social media trends, and measure the effectiveness of campaigns. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various social media platforms, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. In this role, you will plan and execute social media, video, and other digital advertising campaigns across various platforms. You will build, maintain, and grow the company’s social media presence while effectively executing the planned social media strategy. Measuring and reporting the performance of all digital marketing campaigns against established goals will be a key responsibility. You will identify trends and insights to optimize spending and performance based on these insights, presenting trend and performance data to internal management and the team. Additionally, you will brainstorm new and creative growth strategies, plan and measure experiments and conversion tests, and utilize strong analytical abilities to evaluate the end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and touchpoints. Collaboration is essential in this role, as you will work closely with co-workers, internal management, and external vendor partners. You will also evaluate emerging technologies and provide thought leadership for their adoption where appropriate. Conducting and evaluating customer research, market conditions, and competitor data will be part of your responsibilities, along with developing and adhering to a social media and digital marketing budget. You will assist with annual events such as the Jamboree and trade shows, and contribute to the company newsletter by suggesting, writing, and editing articles. Maintaining and utilizing company equipment and social media platforms with respect and consideration is expected, along with completing any other tasks assigned by your manager.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute social media, video and other digital advertising campaigns across various platforms.
  • Build, maintain, and grow Company social media presence and effectively execute social media strategy as planned.
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals.

  • Develop and adhere to a social media / digital marketing budget.
  • Assist with annual Jamboree, trade shows, and other special events on and off-site.
  • Suggest, write, and edit articles for the company newsletter.
  • Maintain and utilize Company equipment and social media platforms with the utmost respect and consideration.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree in Marketing/Business or Communications
  • 1-2 years of experience in social media marketing
  • Creative and analytical mindset
