About the position

The Social Media Manager will develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance brand awareness, engage with the audience, and drive traffic to digital platforms. This role requires a creative and analytical mindset to create compelling content, monitor social media trends, and measure the effectiveness of campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of various social media platforms and excellent communication skills, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute social media, video and other digital advertising campaigns across various platforms.
  • Build, maintain, and grow Company social media presence and effectively execute social media strategy as planned.
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals.
  • Identify trends and insights and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.
  • Present trend and performance data to internal management and team.
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies both individually and as a group.
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests.
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
  • Analyze conversion points and user funnels, as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with co-workers, internal management, and external vendor partners as needed.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and provide thought leadership for adoption where appropriate.
  • Conduct and evaluate customer research, market conditions and competitor data.
  • Develop and adhere to a social media / digital marketing budget.
  • Assist with annual Jamboree, trade shows, and other special events on and off-site.
  • Suggest, write, and edit articles for the company newsletter.
  • Maintain and utilize Company equipment and social media platforms with the utmost respect and consideration.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree in Marketing/Business or Communications
  • 1-2 years of experience in social media marketing
  • Creative and analytical mindset
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience creating compelling content
  • Deep understanding of various social media platforms
  • Knowledge of social media trends
  • Experience measuring the effectiveness of campaigns
