About the position

The Social Media Manager/Publicist at Enormous Creative will be responsible for developing and managing public relations and social media campaigns, as well as creating advertising materials for both print and web. This role is crucial for enhancing brand awareness and requires strong writing skills and media relations experience.

Responsibilities

  • Managing Social Media and coordinating with clients for optimum campaign interaction
  • Writing press releases and managing media relations
  • Contributing to the planning, promotion, and execution of PR campaigns
  • Writing copy for websites and advertisements
  • Pitching stories and ideas to media outlets on behalf of the client
  • Arranging publicity opportunities such as speaking engagements, appearances, and interviews
  • Building and maintaining successful relationships with media stakeholders
  • Promoting the client or company image in a successful manner

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience in media and/or public relations
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Expertly managing social media accounts for multiple clients
  • Executing and reporting on paid promotion campaigns in social media and Google ads
  • Creating and executing email marketing campaigns on behalf of clients
  • Ability to efficiently plan, prioritize and manage numerous projects and tasks
  • Fastidious attention to detail, highly organized, and able to keep to and/or work ahead of deadlines
  • Ability to think strategically and adapt to changing circumstances in a highly collaborative team environment
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Strong sense of urgency, passion and drive to take ownership of all projects
  • Proficient in email campaign platforms such as Constant Contact and MailChimp
  • Fluency across social media channels
  • Must be able to work locally at our Peekskill, NY office location
