About the position

The Social Media Coordinator at Urban Packaging Corp. is responsible for creating engaging content and managing social media platforms to enhance the company's online presence, particularly in the cannabis space. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing and digital strategies, with the potential for transition to a full-time position after a trial period.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating engaging content for various social media platforms, including text, photos, and videos.
• Work with the project coordinator to schedule and publish posts on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and TikTok shop.
• Monitor all social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with followers to foster community growth.
• Track social media performance using analytics tools, prepare reports on key metrics, and communicate the results clearly with the team.
• Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and share insights with the team on a monthly basis.
• Collaborate with the design team, project manager, affiliate team, and marketing team to align social media activities with overall marketing strategies.

Requirements

• Strong user of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, TikTok shop).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh and engaging content ideas.
• Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
• Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a huge plus.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working on social media accounts within the cannabis space is a plus.
