The Manager Social Media for Hilton Grand Vacations (HGV) operates a social media center of excellence that is responsible for all facets of social media including, but not limited to, customer management, content creation, influencer management, employee advocacy, executive communications, and reporting. This position is crucial in driving the company's success through effective social media strategies and initiatives. The Social Media Manager will report to the Sr. Director of Social Media and will lead a team of specialists who support the global strategy for a leading brand in the hospitality industry. In this role, the Social Media Manager will be expected to demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills, with a proven track record in managing social media crises, building compliance and governance protocols, and engaging with C-suite executives. The manager will also be responsible for social media copywriting for both the brand and executives, as well as leading customer engagement programs that require collaboration across multiple departments for effective case resolution. Additionally, the manager will thrive in developing global employee advocacy programs that enhance the brand's presence and engagement on social media platforms. The position requires a proactive approach to stay ahead of upcoming platforms and channel functionalities, making informed recommendations for the brand's social media strategy. The role will primarily be work-from-home, but the manager must be available in the Orlando area for in-person events and office days.
