About the position

We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our online platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of social media trends, excellent communication skills, and a passion for storytelling through digital content.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media marketing strategies across various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Create engaging content that resonates with our target audience, including graphics, videos, and written posts.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends and insights using social listening tools to inform strategy adjustments.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall brand goals and campaigns.
  • Manage day-to-day social media activities, including scheduling posts, responding to comments, and engaging with followers.
  • Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Utilize Google Analytics and other metrics to track performance and report on campaign effectiveness.
  • Ensure all content is proofread for accuracy and adheres to brand guidelines before publication.
  • Foster relationships with influencers and public relations contacts to expand brand reach.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in social media management or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
  • Experience in e-commerce is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Excellent writing, proofreading, and communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to conduct research effectively to support content creation and strategy development.
  • Familiarity with social media marketing best practices and analytics tools is required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
