About the position

We are seeking a creative and dynamic Social Media Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engage with our audience across various platforms. This role requires a proactive individual who can research and stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices. The Social Media Manager will learn the brand aesthetic and voice to effectively represent the business on all digital platforms. The position is hybrid, allowing for both remote and onsite work, particularly for content generation. The Social Media Manager will create engaging social media content, including photography and videos, and will work closely with our Marketing Director in scheduling, planning, and executing social media strategies. Collaboration with the marketing team to develop advertising campaigns is essential, as well as designing and executing paid advertising campaigns through Meta. Monitoring social media metrics and analytics to track performance is a key responsibility, along with engaging with followers, responding to comments, and messages in a timely manner. The Social Media Manager will also coordinate with external partners for influencer collaborations and have regular meetings with our Marketing Director for strategy check-ins and updates.

Responsibilities

  • Research and stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices
  • Learn the brand aesthetic & voice to act as the business on all digital platforms
  • Work hybrid remote/onsite for content generation
  • Create engaging social media content including photography & videos
  • Work closely with the Marketing Director in scheduling, planning, & social media strategy
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop advertising campaigns
  • Design and execute paid advertising campaigns through Meta
  • Monitor social media metrics and analytics to track performance
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments, and messages in a timely manner

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop/Lightroom for photo editing
  • Experience in video editing for social media platforms
  • Strong understanding of social media algorithms and analytics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Previous experience in social media management
  • Strong understanding of branding & utilization of brand voice
