About the position

Syneos Health is looking for a Social Media Manager to run and manage paid social campaigns. In this role, you should be well-versed in social media and have a thorough understanding of the leading platforms in use today (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Tik Tok). You should also be analytical and good with numbers and reporting methodologies. Your goal will be to ensure digital and social marketing efforts are properly implemented, optimized, and have the highest possible return on investment.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in forming effective paid search strategies
  • Launch and optimize various paid social campaigns
  • Oversee account campaigns on paid promotion platforms (e.g. YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter Ads, native, and other paid/programmatic platforms)
  • Research keyword selection and audience targeting
  • Monitor budget and adjust bids to gain better ROI
  • Track KPIs to assess performance and pinpoint issues
  • Produce reports for clients / management (e.g. GA Dashboards, Google Data Studio, Power BI)
  • Counsel on writing effective copy for text ads and for advising on creative ad unit development
  • Suggest and develop new campaigns across multiple channels
  • Work with ad platforms and vendors
  • Find ways to reduce risk of click fraud
  • Keep abreast of latest paid social best practices and trends

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a social media campaign manager
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting
  • Familiarity with multiple platforms (e.g. YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, native)
  • Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tag Manager, WebTrends, Facebook Insights, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn analytics, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Twitter Insights, Twitter Ads, etc.)
  • Proficient in MS Office (particularly Excel)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical thinking with strong math skills
  • Experience in other biddable media types, such as paid search, a plus
  • AdWords certification is a plus
  • 3+ years of experience directly managing campaigns within social platform ads accounts
