About the position

The Social Media Manager will collaborate with the team to develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for all social media platforms aimed at increasing brand awareness, building a community, and driving sales across both ecommerce and traditional grocery retail. This role involves day-to-day management of social media accounts and acting as the voice and moderator for the brand's online community.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the team to design a social media strategy that aligns with business goals and ensures brand consistency.
  • Create a content calendar to ensure posts are authentic, informative, and appealing for each platform.
  • Publish and share engaging content daily, utilizing the content calendar and spontaneous trends.
  • Optimize social media performance by setting targets, tracking, reporting, and adjusting based on learnings.
  • Suggest and implement new activations to develop brand awareness, such as promotions and collaborations.
  • Build, manage, and grow the online community across various social platforms.
  • Help generate and collect user-generated content (UGC) and execute influencer strategies.
  • Conduct outreach to build brand awareness and engagement outside of owned posts.
  • Choose and execute on opportunities to spend boosting budget to advance business objectives.
  • Monitor the competitor landscape and make strategic recommendations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in CPG marketing, specifically in organic social media and community management.
  • Strong passion for social media marketing and community engagement.
  • Hands-on experience in content management and creation with excellent copywriting skills.
  • Experience utilizing Social Media Management Platforms.
  • Proficient in reporting, data analysis, and performance metrics to drive business goals.
  • Proven success in managing campaign engagement and strategic analysis of content performance.
  • Ability to lead and present concepts and recommendations.
  • Knowledge of social media and food trends.

Nice-to-haves

  • Past culinary experience for recipe video creation and adapting recipes to fit brand ethos.
