About the position

As a Social Media Manager, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our brand presence across various communication channels, including LinkedIn, email, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and Facebook. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and manage our content communication plans, ensuring that our messaging is timely, relevant, and engaging. You will collaborate closely with our content creation team to produce high-quality content such as blogs, email copy, and newsletters, while also optimizing this content for each distribution channel to maximize reach and engagement. In addition to content creation, you will be responsible for editing and proofreading all content before it goes live, ensuring that it meets our quality standards. Analyzing the performance of our campaigns will be a key part of your role, as you will identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance our outreach. You will also manage our webinars, keeping them fresh and relevant to our audience. Staying up to date with the latest trends in social media and online marketing will be essential to your success in this position, as you will need to adapt our strategies to meet the evolving landscape of digital communication. This position is in-office, Monday through Friday, and offers a dynamic work environment where you can thrive and contribute to our mission of making live events more accessible and enjoyable for our clients. Responsibilities

  • Manage existing communication channels including LinkedIn, email, X, Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Develop and manage content communication plans, including a content calendar.
  • Create content alongside the content creation team, including blogs, email copy, and newsletters.
  • Optimize content for each distribution channel.
  • Edit and proofread content before it goes live.
  • Analyze campaigns to identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage webinars and ensure they are up to date with trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 3+ years of work experience in a collaborative, data-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of SEO and keyword research.
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels.
  • Proficiency in content management systems and web analytics tracking (Hootsuite and Google Analytics preferred).
  • Strong communication and copywriting skills.
  • Project management and organizational skills.
