About the position

The Social Media Manager at Michael Todd Beauty is responsible for overseeing the brand's social media presence, ensuring consistent brand voice, engaging with the community, and managing influencer partnerships to support brand growth. This role requires a passion for the beauty industry and expertise in content creation and social media trends.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned content grids for various social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Threads, X (Twitter), Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok, and Flip.
  • Plan, create, and schedule daily content in line with brand guidelines.
  • Create and submit collaboration briefs, social content, and captions for approval.
  • Engage with the audience by replying to comments, messages, and posts, and managing the brand's Facebook group.
  • Run polls, contests, and post approvals to drive engagement.
  • Manage influencer partnerships and run seasonal campaigns, overseeing collaboration contracts and product reviews.
  • Monitor brand reputation and social sentiment on platforms like Trustpilot and Google Reviews.
  • Work with the Social Media Director to drive campaigns that boost engagement and increase follower counts.
  • Coordinate with e-commerce teams to promote presence on Amazon, Facebook Marketplace, and TikTok Shop.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; Associate's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • 1 year of experience in social media management.
  • Strong written communication skills with fast, accurate typing.
  • Ability to manage multiple social media accounts while maintaining a professional tone.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with followers and influencers.
  • Creativity in developing engaging content ideas and campaigns.
  • Attention to detail in managing social media interactions.
