The Social Media Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the online presence of our dynamic and growing company, which specializes in subscription-based marketing and branding services. This full-time position, based in Blair, NE, involves leading social media efforts across multiple platforms for six distinct brands. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social media strategies that align with each company's goals and target audience. This includes creating and managing content, engaging with online communities, monitoring performance metrics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that our social media presence effectively supports business objectives. In this role, the Social Media Manager will frequently engage in hands-on tasks such as content creation and curation, community management, and analytics reporting. The individual will produce high-quality content that resonates with target audiences, ensuring consistent visual branding and messaging across all channels. Additionally, the manager will engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and foster strong online communities. The position also requires tracking and analyzing social media performance metrics, generating detailed reports, and optimizing campaigns for better performance. The Social Media Manager will be expected to stay updated on social media trends and best practices, conduct competitor analysis, and utilize social media management tools for scheduling and monitoring activities. This role requires a creative thinker who is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team. The position reports to the Digital Branding & Marketing Specialist and is essential for driving brand awareness and customer engagement across our unique brands.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies tailored to each company's goals and target audience.
  • Create and maintain content calendars, ensuring consistent and strategic posting across all platforms.
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns focused on brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement.
  • Produce and curate high-quality content (graphics, videos, posts) that aligns with each brand's identity and resonates with the target audience.
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and actively participate in online conversations to build strong, loyal communities.
  • Track and analyze social media performance metrics, including engagement rates, follower growth, reach, and conversions.
  • Plan, create, and manage paid social media campaigns, ensuring effective targeting and budget management.
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and content teams to ensure social media efforts align with broader business objectives.
  • Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep our social media presence innovative and competitive.
  • Utilize social media management tools for scheduling, monitoring, and analyzing activities across all platforms.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in social media management, preferably with a focus on managing multiple brands or in a subscription-based service industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong content creation skills, including writing, graphic design, and video production.
  • Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
  • Experience with paid social media advertising and budget management.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain a consistent brand voice.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in performance tracking and reporting.
