About the position

We are seeking a skilled and creative Video and Social Media Content Specialist to join our Las Vegas-based video and photography agency. This role focuses on producing engaging video content, managing social media platforms, and contributing to impactful content strategies while working in a collaborative and vibrant environment. Remote working options are available, providing flexibility for our team members.

Responsibilities

• Plan, film, and edit engaging video content for social media, including short-form videos (Reels, Stories, TikToks) and other promotional materials.
• Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand visibility and engagement.
• Manage daily posting and interactions on Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, and other platforms.
• Collaborate with the team to align content with business objectives and create visually appealing, informative posts.
• Write and edit high-quality content for social media, email campaigns, and other digital marketing channels.
• Create visually compelling graphics using Canva to enhance written content and video posts.
• Monitor analytics to adjust content strategies based on audience engagement data.
• Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and algorithms to continuously refine content strategies.
• Conduct industry research to produce relevant and valuable content.
• Assist in scripting and developing storyboards for video projects and marketing materials.

Requirements

• Proven experience in video creation and editing, with proficiency in CapCut and Canva.
• Familiarity with Adobe tools is a plus.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and growth tactics.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of SEO principles, email marketing strategies, and persuasive writing is a bonus.
• Experience in analyzing performance metrics and adapting content strategies based on data.
• A portfolio showcasing video projects and written content samples is required.
