The Social Media Manager (B2B/SaaS) role at Vimeo is pivotal in shaping and executing the company's organic social strategy. This position is responsible for creating memorable content that drives audience engagement and enhances the brand's presence across various social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Reddit, and TikTok. Reporting directly to the VP of Corporate Marketing & Communications, the Social Media Manager will collaborate with various teams within Vimeo to align social media initiatives with broader business goals and brand perception shifts. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of social trends and storytelling, coupled with a passion for technology and creativity. This hybrid role will be based in Vimeo's Manhattan office, where the manager will work closely with the team to capture and curate social content. In this role, you will develop and execute a comprehensive organic social media strategy that aligns with Vimeo's brand and business objectives. You will lead the creation of compelling content tailored to both consumer/creator and B2B/SaaS audiences, which includes thought leadership articles, industry insights, customer success stories, and engaging multimedia content. Managing the day-to-day activities of Vimeo's social channels will be a key responsibility, which includes content scheduling, community engagement, and monitoring brand mentions and conversations. You will also define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of social media efforts on brand awareness, audience growth, engagement, and lead generation. Utilizing social listening tools, you will identify trends, monitor competitor activity, and gather audience insights to inform your content strategy. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, content, and HR, will be essential to support product launches, events, and employer branding initiatives through integrated social media campaigns. Staying updated on the latest tech social media trends and platform updates will ensure that Vimeo remains at the forefront of industry best practices. Regular reporting on performance across social platforms and campaigns will be required, along with building insights and learnings to optimize strategy across all social channels in partnership with the Social Media Manager. You will also implement strategies to engage with and grow the community, ensuring an integrated approach across all channels, and facilitate community management across key social channels by responding to direct messages and comments daily. Additionally, you will develop an employee advocacy program to enable all Vimeans to participate in amplifying our social media content.
