About the position

JMC Management and 86 Hospitality is seeking a creative and skilled Marketing and Social Media Manager to oversee and enhance the online presence of its growing restaurant group. This role involves creating dynamic content, managing social media strategies, and executing marketing campaigns to promote various restaurant concepts in Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and hospitality, along with strong technical skills in photography and video production.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage social media content, including photos, videos, and reels, for all restaurant concepts.
  • Post ads on Google, Facebook, and Instagram, updating them monthly to keep content fresh and exciting.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Utilize SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines.
  • Design and update menus, create graphics for events, and market special events and menu launches.
  • Send weekly email blasts for each concept to promote special events, offers, and updates.
  • Be present at events to capture live photos and video footage for real-time social media updates.
  • Monitor social media trends, customer feedback, and engagement opportunities.
  • Analyze performance metrics to adjust strategies and campaigns as needed.
  • Manage paid advertising campaigns across social media platforms to drive traffic and conversions.
  • Oversee video editing projects to create high-quality, engaging multimedia content.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, public relations, and advertising, to ensure cohesive messaging.
  • Keep websites updated with operational hour changes, events, and new photos.

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing or related field.
  • Photography and video creation skills with the ability to produce cinematic-level content.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) for content creation and editing.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Google Ads) and experience managing paid advertising campaigns.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and the ability to optimize content for visibility.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong research skills and the ability to identify trends to inform content strategies.
  • Experience in managing multiple brands and developing marketing strategies across platforms.
  • Ability to work on-site weekly at various restaurant locations.
  • Passion for staying updated on social media trends and emerging technologies.
