About the position

The Social Media Manager at Sands Harbor Resort & Marina is responsible for enhancing the hotel's online presence and engagement through strategic content creation and management across various social media platforms. This role involves curating stories that reflect the hotel's rebranding efforts, managing digital marketing campaigns, and ensuring brand consistency across all channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design and digital marketing, with a focus on driving brand awareness and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Manage numerous digital media accounts (resorts & restaurants) within the owners hospitality group
  • Develop and implement digital strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and following
  • Create and curate engaging content for digital media platforms, including text, image, and video
  • Create and manage Paid Ads campaigns to generate awareness, leads, and revenue (ROI) within numerous departments
  • Monitor all online channels for customer inquiries, comments, and feedback including a focus on review generation and rating performance reporting
  • Create email marketing campaigns to retarget our online audience, create further brand awareness, and generate sales / revenue
  • Respond to customer inquiries and comments in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all digital marketing channels
  • Maintain consistent influencer reach and manage the implementation of paid and organic collaborations
  • Periodically maintain and update website events, landing pages, and other important pieces of information that directly link to social media
  • Conduct research on industry trends and competitors to curate new digital media strategies
  • Utilize analytics tools to track and report on all digital performance metrics (social media, reviews, seo, paid ads)
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role
  • Strong graphic design skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and analytics tools
  • Ability to create engaging content that resonates with target audiences
  • Experience in managing paid advertising campaigns
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the hospitality industry
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices
