About the position

The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy that enhances brand visibility and drives customer engagement. This role involves creating and curating content, designing graphics, writing copy, monitoring social trends, and analyzing performance metrics to ensure the success of social media initiatives. The manager will collaborate closely with the marketing team to align social media efforts with broader business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy in collaboration with the Director of Marketing.
• Identify effective platforms and content types for reaching various target demographics.
• Create visually compelling and on-brand content by designing graphics and writing engaging copy for social media posts.
• Leverage Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to produce high-quality visuals.
• Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics to gauge campaign effectiveness.
• Deliver detailed monthly and quarterly reports to the marketing team and stakeholders.
• Monitor social media channels daily for social listening and customer feedback.
• Respond to comments and messages promptly and professionally to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure social media initiatives are integrated with other marketing campaigns.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• 3-5 years experience in a social media management role within an agency or corporate environment.
• Proven experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or a related field or equivalent work experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with video production, animation, or photography.
• 1-3 years of experience with a full-service financial institution.
