About the position

The Social Media Manager at de Toledo High School is responsible for managing the school's social media presence, including content creation and engagement across various platforms. Responsibilities

  • Manage and create content for the school's social media platforms including Instagram and Facebook.
  • Capture and edit photos and videos to promote school events and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Community Managers, Marketing Managers, and Creative teams to align social media strategies with overall marketing goals.
  • Plan and execute successful social media campaigns based on digital marketing principles.
  • Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics to improve engagement and reach.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years experience as a Social Media Manager or in a similar role.
  • Experience in photography and videography, including capturing and editing content.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and their organizational operations, including pages, groups, and profiles.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, media, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Adobe Premiere and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Prior experience in an educational setting.
