About the position

As a Social Media Manager at Beazley Management Limited, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our global social media strategy. This position requires a creative and strategic thinker who can partner with external agencies and collaborate with our marketing team to create engaging social content. You will be responsible for planning and scheduling posts, tracking engagement, and monitoring the performance of our social media platforms. Your efforts will directly contribute to enhancing Beazley's brand presence and driving our overall marketing strategy. In this role, you will lead the organic social media strategy, focusing on building engaging customer experiences across various social channels. You will support the Lead Digital Marketing Manager in developing paid social media advertising strategies and work closely with the broader marketing team to ensure that all social media creative aligns with our brand guidelines. Your responsibilities will also include creating video and animation content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, as well as managing the company's social media content calendar in collaboration with the corporate communications and marketing teams. You will be tasked with growing and maintaining our followers on all social media platforms, including our employee advocacy tool, EveryoneSocial. By establishing key performance indicators and utilizing social data monitoring tools, you will assess the effectiveness of our social campaigns and provide insights for continuous improvement. Staying updated with the latest social media best practices and technologies, including AI capabilities, will be essential as you identify new channels and opportunities for engagement. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement global social media strategy.
  • Partner with external agencies and marketing team on social content creation.
  • Plan and schedule posts while tracking and monitoring engagement.
  • Grow and support Beazley's employee advocacy tool - EveryoneSocial.
  • Lead organic social media strategy to build engaging customer experiences.
  • Support paid social media advertising strategy with the Lead Digital Marketing Manager.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to develop social media creative tiles and campaigns.
  • Create video and animation compositions for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Manage the company's social media content calendar in collaboration with corporate communications and marketing teams.
  • Align brand with new and emerging trends in social media.
  • Use social media tools to craft and release content effectively.
  • Develop and implement plans to grow and maintain followers on all social media platforms.
  • Work with internal teams to boost brand awareness through employee engagement.
  • Establish key performance indicators for social media campaigns and monitor their success.
  • Communicate insights on campaign performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Supervise social media interactions to ensure positive customer service experiences.
  • Stay updated with social media best practices and technologies, including AI capabilities.
  • Identify new channels and opportunities for social media engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience.
  • Certifications in social media marketing.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Advanced copywriting skills for social and digital marketing.
  • Advanced knowledge of using a range of social media channels (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram).
  • Proficient in graphic design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and prioritize effectively.
  • Agency experience working in social media channels across organic and paid media.
  • Direct knowledge and experience using social media marketing tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Meltwater, Buffer.
