About the position

Flex is seeking a creative and culturally savvy Social Media Manager to enhance its brand voice and organic social media presence, particularly on TikTok. This role involves managing social strategy across platforms, creating engaging content, and collaborating with influencers and user-generated content (UGC) to build a vibrant community. The ideal candidate will be passionate about social media, skilled in content creation, and adept at driving engagement through storytelling and trendspotting.

Responsibilities

• Manage social channels and execute content strategy to attract, engage, and grow the community, focusing on TikTok.
• Surface ideas and optimize content based on insights and trends.
• Attend meetings to review channel performance and share updates on influencer/UGC programs.
• Create native video content and manage internal and external content creators.
• Schedule and ensure timely delivery of posts with appropriate copy and links.
• Monitor social media accounts daily to engage with customers and flag comments for moderation.
• Assist with ad hoc marketing events and projects.

Requirements

• 3-5 years experience leading social media strategy and content creation for an omnichannel CPG brand.
• Natural storyteller with the ability to learn and emulate brand voice and goals.
• Demonstrated success in growing CPG brands and individual social media profiles, especially on TikTok.
• Experience managing influencers and outside agencies.
• Comfortable analyzing data to drive measurable improvements in social media strategy.
• Clear communicator capable of delivering detailed briefs for stakeholders.
• Strong awareness of US social media best practices and measurement metrics.
