This role is ideal for a highly motivated and experienced social media professional who is passionate about creating engaging content and driving brand awareness. The Social Media Manager will develop and implement a social media strategy that increases our online presence and drives brand awareness. This includes managing our social media accounts across multiple platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn. The candidate will create engaging content for each platform, including text, images, and videos, while utilizing SEO best practices to optimize our social media posts for search engines. Monitoring and analyzing our social media metrics, including engagement rates and follower growth, will be a key responsibility. Collaboration with our public relations team to develop a cohesive brand messaging strategy is essential. The candidate will utilize tools such as Hootsuite to schedule and post content across all social media platforms and use Adobe Illustrator to create visual content, such as graphics and illustrations. Editing videos to create engaging content for our social media channels and proofreading all social media content to ensure accuracy and professionalism are also part of the role. The Social Media Manager will manage and maintain our social media community by responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner, staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices, and utilizing relationship management skills to build and maintain relationships with influencers, bloggers, and other stakeholders. Additionally, the candidate will develop and implement a content creation calendar to ensure consistency and quality of content and conduct regular social media audits to ensure compliance with brand guidelines and to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in social media management
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences
  • Excellent content creation skills, including writing, graphic design, and video editing
  • Experience with Hootsuite and Adobe Illustrator
  • Strong public relations skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with influencers, bloggers, and other stakeholders
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and how to apply them to social media content
  • Experience with digital marketing and social media analytics
  • Ability to proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy and professionalism
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field
