About the position

Saltshine Creative is seeking a talented and experienced Social Media Manager to join their dynamic team. This part-time, independent contractor role focuses on managing social media accounts, creating engaging content, and supporting various administrative and creative tasks. The position offers the potential to transition into a full-time role as the business grows, making it ideal for a strategic thinker with a creative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and publish engaging content for social media platforms, including original text, posts, videos, and reel edits.
• Use social media management tools for scheduling, tracking, and reporting analytics.
• Analyze data and provide performance metrics and insights to clients.
• Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
• Manage user-generated content across various platforms.
• Ensure all content aligns with the brand voice and organizational standards.
• Develop written content for social media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
• Craft compelling copy to drive engagement.
• Collaborate effectively with the creative and digital teams.
• Stay informed about trends in pop culture, technology, and social media platforms.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a social media manager or similar role.
• Proficiency with key social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and others.
• Strong knowledge of Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, etc.).
• Expertise in video editing (Reels/TikTok).
• Graphic design proficiency.
• Additional marketing experience is advantageous.
• Exceptional attention to detail, creativity, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently.
