About the position

The Social Media Manager at Genesys will be responsible for executing the company's global social media strategy, enhancing brand awareness, and driving engagement across corporate channels. This role is pivotal in increasing the company's social media presence through various efforts, including owned, earned, and paid media, while also championing employee advocacy programs and building relationships with influencers.

Responsibilities

• Post social media content and manage channels day-to-day
• Manage social media programs from concepting through to creative development and execution
• Contribute to and build on social media strategies that drive community growth and engagement
• Analyze engagement data and draw actionable insights to increase performance
• Champion employee advocacy program to activate employees and drive additional social awareness
• Identify opportunities to build relationships with influencers, content creators, and thought leaders
• Stay up to date with latest social media best practices, technologies, and trends

Requirements

• 5+ years relevant work experience
• Deep experience with social media management platforms and social listening tools
• Experience writing snappy, eye-catching post copy, headlines, video scripts, etc.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort with presenting to cross-functional teams
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to prioritize and adapt to change in stride
