About the position

As a Social Media Manager at Cottonwood Mill + Cabinet, Inc., you will play a crucial role in enhancing the company's online presence and brand awareness through strategic social media management. This position involves developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy, creating engaging multimedia content, and analyzing performance metrics to drive engagement and growth. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker with strong communication skills, capable of working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality photography and videography content that showcases our products, processes, and brand story.
• Edit photos and videos to produce polished, professional content for various social media platforms.
• Write compelling short-form and/or SEO copy for our website, social media posts, ads, and other marketing materials.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with our brand goals and target audience.
• Manage and maintain social media channels, including our websites, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and others.
• Plan and schedule content, ensuring consistency in brand voice and messaging, while improving our content scores.
• Interact with followers, respond to comments, messages, and foster a positive online community.
• Identify opportunities for engagement and collaborate with influencers or partners to expand reach.
• Track and analyze social media performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns.
• Provide regular reports with insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Work closely with other departments to align social media content with overall marketing strategies and campaigns.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, platform updates, and best practices to ensure our social media presence remains innovative and effective.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Multimedia Design, or a related field preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience in a related field.
• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, Content Creator, or similar role.
• Strong skills in photography, videography, and photo/video editing software.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with a knack for crafting engaging short-form copy.
• A creative thinker with a strong eye for design and aesthetics.
• Proficient in using social media management tools and analytics platforms.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge or passion for woodworking, cabinetry, or the home building industry is a plus.
