About the position

The Social Media Manager at Bask and Lather Co is responsible for enhancing the company's social media presence and strategy. This role involves managing organic social efforts, collaborating with various teams, and engaging with the audience through creative content and community management. The position requires adaptability to rapidly changing trends in social media and a passion for the beauty industry.

Responsibilities

  • Manage organic social efforts, including strategy, creative, execution, and analysis for the brand and CEO.
  • Develop social media content calendars for relevant platforms.
  • Participate in and film live events and behind-the-scenes content for various platforms.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer service teams to ensure brand consistency.
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, such as promotions and competitions.
  • Research and manage potential exposure opportunities, including influencer social campaigns.
  • Engage in community management by responding to audiences and customers on social media.
  • Curate content including graphics, reels, and video content.
  • Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews.
  • Organize and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness.
  • Utilize data and consumer insights to tell compelling brand stories across marketing channels.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and leverage measurement tools for KPI reporting.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in social media management (internships do not count).
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field (business, marketing, advertising, or technology) preferred.
  • Proven ability to develop effective social media strategies and communicate recommendations to executives.
  • Experience in copywriting to drive branded content across channels.
  • Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Capcut, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Google Docs/Sheets.
