We are seeking an innovative and creative Social Media Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy, creating engaging content, and fostering a strong online presence. The Social Media Manager will manage our social media presence across multiple platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube. The role requires conducting research to identify trends and best practices in social media marketing, as well as creating high-quality, engaging content for our social media channels, including graphics, videos, and captions. Utilizing Adobe Creative Suite to create visual content and edit videos is essential. The Social Media Manager will monitor and analyze social media metrics to measure the success of our campaigns and adjust our strategy accordingly. Collaboration with our public relations team is crucial to ensure that our social media content aligns with our overall brand image and messaging. The candidate will also need to identify and address any issues or concerns that may arise on our social media channels. Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and features in social media marketing is necessary to adapt our strategy to maximize our online presence.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proven experience in social media marketing, including creating and implementing social media campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms and their respective features.
  • Experience with Hootsuite or other social media management tools.
  • Excellent research skills, with the ability to identify trends and best practices in social media marketing.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Illustrator and video editing software.
  • Strong proofreading skills, with the ability to ensure that all content is error-free and professional.
  • Experience in public relations or a related field, with a strong understanding of the importance of branding and messaging in social media marketing.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

  • Marketing experience of 1 year (Preferred)
  • Ability to relocate to Port Arthur, TX before starting work (Preferred)
