About the position

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness and engagement. This part-time role involves creating engaging content, managing social media accounts, and analyzing data to track campaign success. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social media marketing and a strong understanding of digital trends.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement
  • Present, promote and sell products in front of the camera on social media platforms
  • Create and curate engaging content for social media platforms, including text, image, and video content
  • Manage social media accounts and ensure consistent branding and messaging across all platforms
  • Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications and apply knowledge to improve social media presence
  • Analyze social media data and metrics to track the success of campaigns and make data-driven decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align social media efforts with overall marketing goals
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in social media marketing
  • Manage Google and Yelp accounts

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, etc.
  • Must be comfortable making videos and presenting products in front of the camera
  • Must develop a deep understanding of product knowledge
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms and understanding of online marketing strategies is a plus
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Proficient in content creation tools such as Canva or Adobe Illustrator
  • Basic video editing skills
  • Familiarity with social listening tools to monitor brand mentions and sentiment analysis
  • Excellent research skills to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) is a plus
