About the position

We are seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team at Color Street and Innovative Cosmetic Concepts. This role is pivotal in scaling our social community while increasing engagement and impressions across various platforms. As a Social Media Manager, you will report directly to the Director of Social Media and will be responsible for spearheading Color Street's strategy and execution across owned social platforms, with a primary focus on video content creation. Your expertise will help shape our social media presence and drive brand awareness and sales through innovative content strategies. In this position, you will work closely with the Director of Social Media and the larger marketing team to develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across all platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, and Pinterest. You will create, curate, and manage all published content, which includes images, videos, written posts, and audio. Planning and executing social media campaigns that align with our marketing objectives and brand messaging will be a key responsibility. You will also analyze and report on social media performance using tools such as Google Analytics and Hootsuite, ensuring that our strategies are data-driven and effective. Community engagement is another critical aspect of this role. You will manage reactive escalations and proactive engagement with our audience, coordinating with internal creative teams to submit project request forms for asset needs. Collaborating with the MarComms team, you will craft messaging for social channels and posts, ensuring that all content aligns with our brand standards. You will present cross-functionally for approvals and analyze post performance, tracking KPIs and reporting on industry activity through monthly reports. Staying informed on the latest social media trends will be essential to keep our strategies fresh and relevant. Content creation will be at the heart of your role. You will create engaging, fun, and informative video content that grows our following and builds brand awareness. This includes conceptualizing, scripting, producing, and shooting short-form video content primarily for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and YouTube. You will manage short-form video content from internal creative teams, contributing to briefs, providing feedback, assisting with filming, and making edits. Additionally, you will cover events and brand photoshoots, capturing content and editing footage to share across our social channels.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across all platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher coupled with 2-4 years of relevant experience in social media marketing
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Pinterest, and Facebook
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with a flexible, positive, and solutions-driven attitude
  • Understanding of photo and photo editing resources such as Photoshop and Lightroom
  • Demonstrated experience working with video editing platforms such as CapCut, InShot, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, or other
  • Basic understanding of design resources such as Canva
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Strong organizational, detail-orientation, and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Open to travel opportunities
  • Existing social content portfolio or digital body of work required
