About the position

Beyond Marketing and Events is seeking a high-energy, self-starting Social Media Manager to lead the success and implementation of social media accounts for various clients. This role requires a social media expert who is knowledgeable about the latest digital technologies and trends, and who can effectively utilize social media to enhance clients' online presence and achieve their goals.

Responsibilities

  • Draft monthly content plans that align with client goals, objectives, marketing initiatives, communications, etc.
  • Conceptualize and develop engaging content across all social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok)
  • Design, edit, photograph, and film compelling content using Adobe Suite, Canva, etc.
  • Strategize creative social media tactics to expedite online visibility for all clients
  • Research and pitch new social media strategies to clients in a thoughtful, easy-to-understand way
  • Craft compelling captions and storytelling that amplify the goals of the client
  • Create a monthly content calendar for all clients across all platforms
  • Manage day-to-day communications with clients on all social media approval processes, edits, and exchanges via the social media scheduling platform Loomly
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement immediate marketing materials and strategies upon client request
  • Email communications with internal team members on social media assets and deliverables
  • Manage all timelines and task schedules with internal team members on social media tasks
  • Conduct daily social listening and community engagement for all accounts
  • Monitor social media channels for trends and determine how to implement these trends for clients
  • Assist in the creation of reports and dashboards to measure, track, and optimize marketing efforts
  • Conduct hashtag and keyword research to optimize all accounts
  • Report key social media stats, research, and answer questions in client-facing weekly status calls

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in Social Media Management
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or MFA in Marketing, Communications, or Graphic Design
  • Excellent communication skills and self-motivation
  • Deep expertise in social media platforms: LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, & TikTok
  • Compelling copywriting skills
  • Hands-on experience working in content management systems
  • Professional, results-oriented, self-starter
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities
  • Careful attention to detail
  • Agency experience
  • Previous experience in B2B marketing
  • Graphic design and video editing skills
