About the position

The Social Media Manager at Hanson Dodge Creative is responsible for shaping the strategic and tactical direction of social media marketing. This role involves collaboration with various teams, including media strategy and performance marketing, to manage both paid and organic social campaigns effectively. The Social Media Manager will also oversee community management and ensure the company's social media presence aligns with business goals while engaging multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences.
  • Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals.
  • Set specific objectives and report on ROI.
  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content on agreed upon cadences.
  • Communicate with followers, responding to queries in a timely manner and monitoring comments.
  • Suggest and implement new features to drive KPIs.
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.
  • Develop social media marketing best practices, POVs, and case studies for internal use.
  • Maintain vendor relationships with social media platforms.
  • Identify and evaluate tools to support in the research and management of social media services.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager (4+ years experience).
  • Deep knowledge of social media platforms and their ad capabilities.
  • Hands-on experience in content management.
  • Excellent copywriting skills.
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video).
  • Knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
