About the position

Dr. Chang Soo Kim is seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to enhance the online presence and reputation of his plastic surgery practice. As a board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Kim offers a comprehensive range of cosmetic services, including surgery, injectables, laser, and radiofrequency treatments. The Social Media Manager will play a crucial role in developing and implementing social media strategies that promote these services and engage with both new and existing patients. This position requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills, as the manager will be responsible for creating engaging content and managing the practice's social media accounts across various platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media platforms, analytic tools, and content management systems. They will be expected to create, film, and publish content that resonates with the target audience while monitoring social media channels for trends and feedback. The Social Media Manager will also analyze social media metrics, providing regular reports on performance and insights to drive continuous improvement. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices is essential to ensure the practice remains competitive in the digital landscape. This full-time position requires the candidate to work Monday to Friday, with the possibility of evenings and weekends as needed. The role is not remote and will require travel to the offices located in Stamford, CT, Bedford Hills, NY, and Montville, NJ. The candidate must be prepared to relocate to Stamford, CT, before starting work.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media strategies to promote our services, attract new patients, and engage with existing patients.
  • Create, film, and publish engaging content across various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and opportunities to engage with our patients.
  • Analyze social media metrics and provide regular reports on performance, insights, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, social media best practices, and emerging platforms to drive innovation and growth.
  • Respond promptly to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media platforms in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience managing social media accounts.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytic tools, and content management systems.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and creative skills with a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and patients.
  • Candidate must provide examples of prior social media content.
