About the position

The Social Media Manager at Velocity Restorations is responsible for developing and executing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness and engage audiences in the classic car restoration industry. This role requires creativity, data-driven decision-making, and a deep understanding of social media trends, particularly in the automotive and luxury sectors. The manager will oversee daily operations across various platforms, create compelling content, and analyze performance metrics to drive customer acquisition and community engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the company's marketing goals.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop high-quality content showcasing car restoration projects and company culture.
  • Manage daily operations of social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  • Engage with followers and industry leaders to build an online community of classic car enthusiasts.
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns to support product launches and marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics and provide regular reports on KPIs.
  • Identify and manage relationships with influencers and partners to amplify campaigns.
  • Stay updated on social media trends and best practices in the automotive and luxury industries.
  • Maintain a consistent voice and visual identity across all social media channels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience managing social media accounts, preferably in the automotive or luxury goods industries.
  • Proven track record of growing social media followings and increasing engagement on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Expertise in content creation, including photography, videography, and graphic design (knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite preferred).
  • Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, MailChimp, Google Analytics).
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills with the ability to craft engaging content.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for classic cars, automotive history, or restoration is a plus.
