About the position

The Social Media Manager will collaborate with the team to develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aimed at increasing brand awareness, fostering community engagement, and driving sales across ecommerce and traditional grocery retail. This role serves as the voice of the brand on various social media platforms, managing day-to-day operations and content creation while ensuring alignment with business goals and brand values.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team in designing social media strategy to align with business goals and ensure brand consistency.
  • Create content calendar to ensure posts are authentic, informative, and appealing for each platform.
  • Collaborate with in-house videographer and brand team to execute content, along with solo content creation.
  • Publish and share engaging content daily, utilizing the content calendar and spontaneous trends.
  • Optimize social media performance by setting targets, tracking, reporting, and adjusting based on learnings.
  • Suggest and implement new activations to develop brand awareness such as promotions and collaborations.
  • Build, manage, foster, and grow the online community across various social platforms.
  • Help ideate, generate, and collect user-generated content (UGC) in partnership with the team.
  • Create a presence for Carbe Diem in the social media wild to build brand awareness and engagement.
  • Choose and execute on best opportunities to spend boosting budget to advance business objectives.
  • Keep a pulse on the competitor landscape, making strategic recommendations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in CPG marketing, specifically within organic social media and community management.
  • A love for social media marketing and community engagement.
  • A passion for building community and fostering meaningful connections with consumers.
  • Hands-on experience in content management and creation, with excellent copywriting skills.
  • Experience utilizing Social Media Management Platforms.
  • Experience in reporting, data, performance metrics, and creative problem-solving.
  • Proven success managing campaign engagement and strategic analysis of content performance across multiple platforms.
  • Track record of evolving brands' online community presence.
  • Ability to lead and present concepts and recommendations.
  • Must be knowledgeable of both social media and food trends.

  • Past culinary experience that can be utilized for recipe video creation and adapting recipes.
