The Social Media Manager serves as a vital member of the North American marketing and communications team at IDEX. This role is multifaceted, focusing on the creation of engaging social media content, particularly video content, and the distribution of this content across various social media channels. The Social Media Manager acts as the primary point of contact for social media followers and technology solution early adopters, such as SAM, BOOST, E3 Connect, and Captium users. The overarching goal of this position is to amplify the story of IDEX's family of brands while engaging with followers as they interact with the content. This role is crucial in driving targeted growth initiatives that align with the business goals, championing social funnel marketing, expanding the reach of IDEX's social content, and nurturing prospects into leads. In terms of responsibilities, the Social Media Manager will manage and oversee all social media content, ensuring that the broader IDEX Fire & Safety marketing and content strategy is effectively implemented across social media channels. This includes planning, developing, implementing, and managing the social media strategy to enhance online presence, improve marketing efforts, increase brand awareness, and ultimately drive sales. The role requires the creation and management of a social media content calendar, participation in visual design strategies, and collaboration with various departments such as product management, sales, engineering, finance, and operations. The Social Media Manager will also serve as a copywriter, crafting social media posts and longer blog content while ensuring brand voice consistency across channels. This position involves engaging with customers and the target audience, responding to direct messages and posts, and educating IDEX Fire & Safety employees on amplifying social media posts. Additionally, the role includes managing outside resources like graphic designers and video production teams, defining key performance indicators for social media, and measuring the success of campaigns through data analysis and actionable insights. Travel is required up to 50% of the time, making this a dynamic and engaging position within the marketing team.
