About the position

21Shares is seeking a creative Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team in New York. This individual will play a pivotal role in managing our social media strategy and presence across various platforms, ensuring that our messaging aligns with our marketing goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of social media marketing, excellent content creation skills, and the ability to engage effectively with our online community. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy that not only enhances our brand visibility but also drives engagement and awareness. You will manage and maintain our social media presence across multiple platforms, working closely with external partners to produce partner content, reports, and co-marketing initiatives. Your analytical skills will be crucial as you measure the success of our social media activities using various analytical tools, providing reports on ROI and performance metrics to guide future strategies. Additionally, you will identify gaps in our existing messaging and define innovative ways to strengthen our brand and voice. You will also be tasked with developing and managing social media campaigns and contests that foster engagement and promote brand awareness. Ensuring brand consistency and compliance with social media policies and guidelines will be a key aspect of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with 21Shares' marketing goals and objectives
  • Manage and maintain social media presence across multiple platforms
  • Work with external partners to produce partner content, reports, and co-marketing with vendors and other non-contracted industry partners
  • Measure the success of social media activities using analytical tools and provide reports on ROI and performance metrics to guide future strategies
  • Identify gaps in our existing messaging and define ways to strengthen our brand and voice
  • Develop and manage social media campaigns and contests to drive engagement and brand awareness
  • Ensure brand consistency and compliance with social media policies and guidelines

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • 2-4 years experience managing Twitter and Linkedin accounts
  • Must live in the continental United States
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing social media strategies
  • Excellent content creation and writing skills
  • Experience with social media management tools and analytics platforms
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, professional service environment
