About the position

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for enhancing the online presence of coding classes and tutoring services across various social media platforms. This part-time, contract role requires the creation and management of engaging content to attract potential students and parents, ensuring effective communication and promotion of educational services.

Responsibilities

• Increase social media presence for coding classes and tutoring services.
• Create and administer content/posts on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Nextdoor.
• Develop 2-3 posts weekly across all relevant platforms.
• Engage with the audience through strong verbal and written communication.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of marketing experience preferred.
• Experience in creating content and managing social media pages for small businesses.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with tutoring or educational services.
• Familiarity with platforms like Tutors.com and Wyzant.com.
