Bobo's is looking for a Social Media Manager to curate and grow our organic presence across social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and more. In this role, you'll create and publish brand-authentic content, engage with Bobo's passionate followers, and collaborate with other brands and influencers in the CPG space. The ideal candidate enjoys keeping up with online trends and developing strategies to keep the Bobo's brand at the forefront of relevance and fun. This position will work closely with the Bobo's Marketing team to support cross-functional brand awareness efforts and key retail partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Bobo's organic social strategy to align with the larger marketing calendar and grow Bobo's brand presence online
  • Craft compelling, on-brand posts for Bobo's organic social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and more
  • Manage social media creative budget; work directly with creative agencies and influencers to develop high-quality photo and video assets that align with Bobo's brand standards
  • Self-shoot or source relevant UGC-style content
  • Serve as the voice of Bobo's across socials; monitor and engage with Bobo's social followers daily by responding to comments, DMs, and mentions/flags
  • Manage Paid and Gifted Influencer strategy
  • Proactively and reactively vet potential partnerships in the CPG and natural products space
  • Coordinate monthly cross-brand giveaways to boost followers, engagement, and/or generate email leads
  • Coordinate with paid media agency partner(s) to support key in-store retailers across socials; boost select posts per month for Reach and Engagement
  • Proactively research social media trends across platforms; incorporate into social media calendar in real-time when possible
  • Propose expansion into new channels as opportunities arise
  • Report on social media KPIs monthly, quarterly, & annually (followers, engagement, top posts, impressions/reach)
  • Organize and manage creative content in Dropbox for cross-team sharing (social, paid, email, & retail teams)
  • Assist with other marketing team projects as needed, including but not limited to: reviewing paid media and email creatives for brand accuracy & voice

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Portfolio of existing content creation for brands or personal socials
  • Strong understanding of the social media landscape and trends
  • Autonomous, self-starter able to identify key opportunities and areas of improvement and take proactive steps to implement improvements
  • Positive attitude & eagerness to learn
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team as well as independently
  • Self-motivated, a 'doer' and results driven
  • Creative spirit and can-do attitude
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication
  • Knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint preferred
  • Knowledge of graphic design preferred (Photoshop, Canva, Figma)
  • Knowledge of Shopify and Klaviyo a plus
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Ability to track and report on key performance indicators
