About the position

The Social Media Manager at AAA Washington is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the organization's brand and engages both new and existing audiences. This role involves daily management of social media channels, content creation, performance analysis, and community engagement, ensuring that AAA Washington's online presence reflects its values and mission.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a social media strategy across multiple channels.
• Create and manage content from ideation to scheduling and analysis.
• Engage with members and followers as the face and voice of AAA Washington online.
• Analyze data to track performance and adapt strategies accordingly.
• Manage the social media budget and forecast overall program costs.
• Expand AAA Washington's social reach through ambassador programs and influencer partnerships.
• Contribute to a positive team dynamic through respectful interactions and collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years' experience in social media marketing.
• Strong content creation skills, particularly for short form brand videos.
• Advanced skill in content writing and English grammar.
• High-level knowledge of social media analytics tools.

Nice-to-haves

• 3+ years' experience with social media metrics and analytics software.
• Previous experience growing followers and engagement via organic content.
• Experience with influencer partnerships.
