About the position

L&K is seeking a dynamic Social Media Manager to lead and innovate social media strategies for its award-winning brands in the CBD/Hemp industry. This role involves developing compelling social media campaigns, managing community engagement, and optimizing content across various platforms to enhance brand visibility and engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and support the development of compelling social media plans and campaigns that align with brand marketing initiatives.
  • Manage and act as Community Manager for Brand Community Channels on Discord, engaging with users and fostering community maintenance.
  • Manage and optimize social media profiles across Facebook, X/Twitter, Instagram, and other platforms.
  • Lead content creation efforts to ensure high-quality, brand-focused social calendars.
  • Work with designers to create visually appealing graphics and content for social media posts.
  • Draft compelling copy that resonates with target audiences and aligns with the Brand Voice.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather information for content creation and stay updated with brand initiatives.
  • Monitor social media trends, analyze performance metrics, and adapt strategies to optimize results.
  • Ideate and pitch new content formats and styles for product launches and campaigns.
  • Create original content to increase KPIs such as reach, impressions, views, and engagement.
  • Design and execute influencer marketing campaigns focusing on organic and paid influencers.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with organic influencers to build brand love.
  • Schedule and coordinate photoshoots for upcoming campaigns.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of influencer campaigns using relevant metrics.
  • Organize product shipments and gift mailers to influencers and brand ambassadors.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage agreements with paid influencers.
  • Work closely with team members to monitor social-sourced traffic.
  • Generate and present proposals and weekly reports to management on social media performance.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Social Media Manager.
  • Experience on all social media platforms.
  • Experience with Ad Performance on Social Media Platforms.
  • Solid understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Proficient with Google Suite & Google Applications.
  • Proficiency in scheduling tools and social media management platforms.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
  • Comfortable utilizing design tools to create social media content.
  • Excellent client-facing skills.
  • Possess an eye for aesthetic curation and cohesive storytelling.
  • Experience with contracts, negotiations, and invoicing.
  • Experience with budget management and reporting on KPIs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Industry knowledge for CBD/Hemp/Nicotine/Supplements is a plus.
