About the position

We are seeking a talented and experienced Social Media Manager to join our team. In this role, you will manage all social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. You will be tasked with creating engaging and shareable content that not only captures the attention of our audience but also encourages interaction and engagement. Monitoring social media trends and staying up-to-date with industry developments will be crucial to your success, as you will need to adapt our strategies to align with the ever-changing social media landscape. Additionally, you will engage with followers by responding to comments and messages in a timely manner, fostering a sense of community around our brand. Analyzing social media metrics and providing reports on performance will help us understand the effectiveness of our strategies and make data-driven decisions for future campaigns. Staying informed about the latest social media best practices and tools will be essential to keep our brand at the forefront of the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media strategies to meet business objectives
  • Manage all social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
  • Create engaging and shareable content for social media channels
  • Monitor social media trends and stay up-to-date with industry developments
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages in a timely manner
  • Analyze social media metrics and provide reports on performance
  • Stay informed about the latest social media best practices and tools

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role
  • Proficient in proofreading and editing content
  • Familiarity with social media management tools such as Hootsuite
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
  • Understanding of public relations principles
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to create compelling content
  • Experience in conducting research and staying up-to-date with industry trends
  • Video editing skills are highly desirable
  • Ability to create visually appealing graphics using Adobe software
